What are affiliate links?
Some of the links on WildflowersInAutumn.com are ‘affiliate links’. This means, at no additional cost to you, I may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase.
In the interest of full transparency, all posts that contain affiliate links have a disclaimer at the beginning of the post. That way, you can choose whether or not to click on the link (though I am very grateful when you do).
Why do you use affiliate links?
Honestly? I don’t like going to websites that are covered in ads. I understand why people do it, but I don’t feel right subjecting you to something I don’t like myself. I may include a few unobtrusive ads here in the future, but for now I’d like to keep the site ad-free.
But web hosting costs money, this blog takes up a large chunk of my time, and a girl’s gotta eat. Affiliate links are a non-intrusive way for me to cover the cost of keeping this blog online and feed my DIY addiction.
As part of their terms and conditions, Amazon require me to make an Amazon-specific disclaimer. So here it is:
I currently participate in the Amazon Associates affiliate program. When you click an affiliate link, as an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
If you have any questions or concerns about the affiliate links on this website (or just want to say hi), please feel free to email [email protected] I’m always happy to chat!
